Today, I called my grandmother, who I call Mimi, and we talked for roughly 1 1/2 hours about how my week was going, her week and my cousins lives. We laughed about how she made a bet with my cousin a few weeks ago about who would win the Kentucky Derby that day, and she lost, so now she must buy him a milkshake. This made my day, because her logic about who to pick for the race was hilarious, she picked horse #16, because it was right around the time of my 16th birthday, I was dying of laughter.

Talking with my Mimi made me the happiest person in the world because Im always glad to hear that she is doing well and that the cousins are also thriving in there places. I can also tell that she really enjoys when we talk, because she does not have many people to talk to, so she is always looking for someone to talk to. She also enjoys talking to her favorite granddaughter, me!!
